I originally left a more favorable review because I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, after dealing with customer service and Chris, I have to change my review. My first order included a mulberry that arrived with a fungus and scale infestation. I treated it myself with neem oil because I didn’t want the hassle of returning it. They offered me a $10 refund, which I accepted. The bigger issue was my second order. The Water Jasmine I received was nothing like what I expected. At first, I thought the main branch had simply broken during shipping. After examining the tree more closely, I discovered that the original main trunk had already been cut off, and the tree was relying on a very thin secondary branch—which was the part that broke during shipping. This was not a healthy or properly developed tree, and certainly not worth the price I paid. When I contacted the seller, they refused to take responsibility. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, they told me I would have to pay to ship the tree back at my own expense, and they would only refund the $25 cost of the tree—not the shipping I paid to receive it. Very helpful and friendly staff. Selection is INCREDIBLE! Everything from pre bonsai to specimen trees, all very healthy and happy. Absolutely beautiful koi pond. The most bonsai pots ive ever seen in one place. Bought several pre-bonsai trees and several pots, including some ULTRA TINY Mame pots.... lol. Great place to visit if you're near by. Even if you dont bonsai its worth a stop. Beautiful place.

A very nice bonsai tree and bonsai supplies nursery. They have a very large selection of bonsai trees, in all stages. A very large selection of bonsai pots in many shapes, sizes and colors, bonsai soil & tools. And a helpful staff to guide you through the location and everything they have available. Well worth the effort to get here. There's a nice quiet koi pond surrounded by bonsai trees which is very nice.

After receiving a pink pixie Bouganville bonsai as a gift, I wanted to further explore the world of bonsai. My significant other and I took a trip from Venice to North Fort Myers to Wigert’s bonsai nursery. From the moment we pulled up to the gate, it was absolutely stunning. We knew that we were in the right place, It was clear that Wigert’s was far from a standard nursery and put great care into their art. New to the world of bonsai we spoke with Hailey. She was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable, taking her time to walk us through the nursery and explain each variety of bonsai and the history of the nursery. We spent an entire afternoon exploring the nursery. Hailey was so great, coming back to check in on us repeatedly, happily answering our questions regarding watering, required sunlight exposure, fertilizing, and repotting. She helped us pick the perfect trees for our collection. What started as a trip to purchase a bonsai, turned into a beautiful day, exploring the incredible grounds. I highly recommend Wigert’s bonsai nursery. And while you’re there, make sure you talk to Hailey! Thanks to her we now have four beautiful little bonsai.

I drove 2 1/2 hours to visit Wigert’s for the first time a few days ago and was honestly blown away. The selection is incredible, from approachable starter material to beautifully refined trees, and everything I saw looked healthy and well cared for. What really stood out to me was the staff. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to answer questions without any pressure to buy. The grounds themselves are inspiring and peaceful, and just walking through the displays gives you ideas and motivation to improve your own trees. It’s clear a lot of care and passion goes into this place. If you’re interested in bonsai at any level, this is absolutely worth the visit. I’m already looking forward to going back.
